MANAGED CARE NEWSBravo Health & HealthSpring -Cigna Healthcare has purchased Bravo Health and HealthSpring Medicare Replacement plans. Cigna has decided to enter the Medicare Replacement plan market. So far, there have not been any changes to our current contracts with Bravo and HealthSpring. As you know, HealthSpring just recently bought Bravo and now Cigna has purchased HealthsSpring. I will keep you informed of any changes that might occur.
HealthSmart –Some of you may have received a letter from HealthSmart PPO. They have added a new product called Accel. The PA office has been contacted about a contract for this new product and my HealthSmart members were not to receive a letter regarding this but some of you did receive them. Please ignore them. Once we have a contract in place for that new product, I will be sending you an Opt In/Opt Out packet for your review and decision of you wish to participate in this new product with HealthSmart. Please contact Judy at the PA office at 940-566-5676 if you wish to know if you participate on our group with HealthSmart.
The PA of North Texas Board of Directors has elected not to do contracts with WellCare and CareNCare Medicare Replacements plans. You are free to contract with them individually if you wish.

They also offer full color printing, digital copying, mailings, promotional items, signage, banners, decals, and vehicle graphics. They will also help you design a logo for your office. Physician Association members will receive a 20% discount on the first order and then 10% for each order thereafter. (Does not include direct mailings)
PA OFFICEThe PA office will be closed December 26th through December 30th for the Christmas Holiday. The office will reopen on Monday, January 2, 2012.
